Not Getting Anything Done
My son has been home from school all this week. My boyfriend only worked 1 day and my daughter only had school 2 days this week. Therefore, I am not getting anything done. Why is it that when everybody is home, housework just does not get done? I have been doing laundry, but not much of anything else. It seems that when I go to start something, somebody wants me to spend time with them, or wants lunch, or whatever. Meanwhile, my house is still dirty. I guess I should make the kids help clean on top of their regular chores, but I don't want to make everybody miserable either. I guess I will just have to work twice as hard next week.

Oh my goodness. I don't even have kids. All it takes is the hubby's presence and the house is instantly trashed. Shouldn't we get more done when we're at home together? Instead you'd think we spend our afternoons running around flinging sugar like confetti for the amount of grit that accumulates.
