Oh He Wanted to Be Gibbs...But He Is In Fact Ducky

At the airshow a couple of days ago, my son did something and my boyfriend, John, called him DiNozzo.  The funny thing is, the description fits.  He is funny, handsome and smart but can seem clueless at times.  Of course, my daughter chimes in, "Who Am I?"  (Yes, we are fans of NCIS).  Well, she definitely is not a Ziva, and is not freaking enough for Abbey, so by default she got Kate.  Then my son says, "What about John?".  John pipes up "Gibbs", but the three of us together say "No, you are Ducky!"  Now John is offended.  He doesn't want to be Ducky, but it fits so well.  Though John sees himself as a tough guy, he really isn't.  He does have a story for everything though and lectures everyone.  And when he gets stuck on a subject, he can just go on and on...the energizer bunny has nothing on him.  John did not want to accept the fact that Ducky is lovable and the show would not be the same without him, he is still holding out for Gibbs.

As for me, I am closest to Abbey.  Yes, I am freaky, in my own way, without the Frankenstein boots, but also smart and a little emotional at times.  And how I would love having a farting hippo.
