I am on my third day of my detox and I feel great this morning. It is amazing what a difference a diet can make in just 3 days. I have only lost 3 pounds, but it feels like a lot more since I do not feel bloated anymore. I have so much energy right now that I feel like I could go jogging. I won't though because I have so much housework to do. So, today is a day of housework. Oh joy....
If anyone is interested, the detox I am on is using a detox kit I got at the health food store and I cut out all wheat and gluten, corn, peanut butter, red meats, and dairy (whey protein and a small amount of butter is allowed). So, I am eating lots of fruits and vegetables, protein shakes, brown rice, hormone and antibiotic free chicken, fish and seafood. Also a small amount of goat cheese is allowed and I look forward to that in my salads.
I agree - I feel so much better when I eat well. Funny how I forget that when I am on a binge:( Glad it is going so well for you.
